Have you ever built forums on WordPress? Well, my first forum was built on wordpress, I used Asgaros wordpress plugin to build a forum. My second forum was also built on wordpress from the same forum plugin. My first two forums were short lived. Currently, I am running a wordpress forum for more than a year and using wpforo as the forum plugin.

I've tried to. I used BBPress and another one that looked more like a normal forum.

I just don't think they look good as an addon to WP.

I guess I'm spoiled too much with forum software haha

Very less no. of features is a big roadblock. Some do not even support YouTube embedding in the free version.

Yeah if it doesn't support the very basic features anymore., I tend to shy away from it.
