Is WordPress good for e-commerce? It is a great CMS for content management and social media integration, but is it good for e-commerce websites?

I think that there are some people that have used this in the past however I am not sure about the success rate that they have had with this. But i think that with teh right planning that it could be great.

I have used wordpress for ecommerce, through easy digital download plugin as well as woocommerce. Wordpress is a good platform ecommerce especially if you have small store. Woocommerce with wordpress is free so you can create an online store for free on wordpress.
