Wix.com or creating a website on your own?

I actually like the idea of wix, getting a ready made website and not just that you get to do a few changes to meet your style even without a programming knowledge.

Wix is not a ready made website, it is a website builder and you need to build your website. It is true that it is easy to build website through wix, but you still need to build.

That's very true. wix is a website builder that lets you crate a goo website without programing skills. wix is similar to wordpress where you can build website wiyhout any coding skills.

Wordpress is as good as wix and as easy as wix, in fact it is better in many ways compared to wix, therefore, you should consider using wordpress compared to wix.

I think that using a website builder like wix.com or creating a website by oneself have their own advantages and disadvantages. Someone like me that don't really know how to create a website by myself, I will prefer website builder where I can use the drag and drop function while learning how creation of website works.

Now, when it comes to creating websites, there are two choices, you either pay for it if you aren't familiar with this field, or you create it on your own.
Paying for it has also two choices, you either pay for it in some platform such as wix.com, or some freelancer that will do it from scratch.
I personally would go for creating it myself as having a skill is a plus, also i would save myself money (but not time) and know what my website is based about.

I once created a website or was it a wapsite with a platform some time back. I do not have the skills to create a professional site by myself but I would really like to learn.

Well creating websites through paid 3rd parties or by yourself if you can code is always the best decision but Wix provides a means by which those with minimal coding experience create custom websites. Of course creating websites from scratch is way better.

I think that creating a website on your own can be a very nice and good thing because if you think about it this will allow you to personalize the website even more and therefore i think that this will drive in more traffic due to its unique nature.

Use wix only when money is not your major concern and all you need a good website without having to work a lot of site design and maintenance. However, you will never have full control over your website.
