Why is rape cases high?

I can't seem to understand why the rape cases in my country is on the increase.

Why do people indulge in rape?

Just this morning, a very young man has been apprehended by the police for the case of
rate.

Well, there are a whole lots of reasons why rape remains pervasive in your country. Top of it is the number of perverts in your region. Indecent dressing from you ladies. No severe laws to punish offenders of this act.

It is because strict action against the rapists are not being taken in certain countries which boosts them up to perform such heinous acts again and again.

This can be attributed to many factors, among which are:
1. Societal Culture: I would say this is a major factor because in our society today, men are seen as stronger than women hence they tend to dominate or feel it's their right to lord over the female folks.
2. Dressing: The way women dress this days covers nothing on their body, everything is exposed and this likely attracts undue advances and actions from men.
3. Drugs: substance abuse could impair anyone's judgement and can turn a seemingly gentle man to a rapist.
4. Pornography: This has become so cheap and common that even simple ads on the net contain them, music videos has now become full time porn, after watching, some folks would want to practice.
There are many other factors, but I will stop here now.

The rate of rape in a given society is as a result of the moral decadence in the society as the general breakdown of law and order. For rapes to be reduced in a country, that country must change the society values of the country.

It's the fault of the parents. The first agent of socialization is the family. My country have a way of making females feel inferior to the male and always have a way of even favouring the male against the female victim.
