Why is it difficult to start a business if your own?

Apart from money, there are many things that a person may need in order to start a business. This also includes skills, experience, and the ability to conduct any kind of business. This is quite important. However, majority of the people do not have experience and they need to work in order to gain experience. In the end, all they may need is money.

When you don't have any of the knowledge needed for you to start a business of your choosing, I would say that the person is never serious about starting the said business to begin with. I'm one of those people who believe having money to start a business is never enough. Paying people to run a business for you is never enough. You need to understand the business as well.

I don't really think it's about having low self-esteem that makes people not to start a business but after every evaluating the challenges that might come with running that business on daily basis, they might be getting a cold feet to start it because they don't want to experience any loss.

I think that self-esteem could be related to starting a business. There are many people who do not have the right kind of confidence level when it comes to starting any kind of business and this is why they may struggle to start a business of their own.

Without having the right mindset to start and run a business, it is always going to be very difficult for someone to even make any attempt on doing so and if the person even manages to start the business, that is going to be very difficult for the person to see through with the management of the business. This is likely going to result to an immediate shutdown of the business.

Personally, I don't support just starting a business just because you have the money to do so without knowing anything about the business. By just depending on employing those who can run and manage the business on your behalf can never be enough for me. Those people can sell your business or run it for their own gain behind you.
