Why did Elon Musk just spend billions to take over Twitter?

Elon Musk is more of a business man, So I guess he saw the potential that Twitter has. And He realize He can actually make a lot of money out of it. The aim of every business person is to make profit.
The goals of a business man is to make more money for themselves and that's why they go into investment and business , he (Elon musk ) knows that he knows better about the business.

Power is the main reason why Elon Musk was willing to $44 billion dollars on the acquisition of Twitter. When you have the power to control what's on the social media, you have the power to direct people's narrative. This is the power Elon Musk was after when he made the move to buy Twitter.

This is exactly the point. He wants to have control over how things are done, and that is something that I like about him. He has understood that those that control the media have a better story to tell in their favour. That made him decide to buy Twitter, and he has gone ahead to rename it to X.

Yeah, that's very correct. There is no way anyone is going to be willing to spend the amount which he spent on acquiring the ownership of Twitter and the person wouldn't be looking at taking advantage of all the benefits that comes with owning that particular social media platform. It's like what Microsoft had to pay in order for them to acquire to own Activision Blizzard.

See how he is making money as the Twitter owner by monetizing the blue tick. Now, you have to pay monthly for the blue tick, and there is no one that can say that they earned it instead. So, the dude had a blueprint of how he wanted to recoup the money that he spent.

This is actually the reason why he is a businessman because he knew the advantages that is going to enjoy if he successfully imprint his business plan on how to use Twitter for his own benefit. I'm sure he will make more than he spent on the social media platform.
