The reason some products have a huge demand as compared to others is due to the quality of the product. The design and the packaging of the product also play a vital role. Another reason is as a result of the high level of advertisment and awareness that is created can make a product well known highly demanded.

If the product is useful to the masses, it will have huge sales. If the product is manufactured with niche marketing in mind, it will be used only by a small group of people and will be comparatively less popular. As far as the same product from different companies is concerned, the better quality product will be more popular comparted to the inferior quality. The popularity of a product is also depended on marketing strategy.

They wanted a way to keep making money though so they purposely made it so they break after so many years. As time went on, the average bulb lasted maybe 3 to 6 months, in some cases only 2 months. LED bulbs have changed this but even those have been tapered back. They used to last 12+ years and now they average about 4 or 5 years.

LED bulbs have replaced traditional bulbs. This is because old-fashioned bulbs used to consume a lots of electricity and this is why the government in here have banned its production. I Think that this increased the demand of LED bulbs to some extent. When an old-fashioned product gets outdated, the demand of newer products increase.

Food business is something that sells more than any other products. People will always eat and that's why they will buy food. Even with my business of poultry and fish farming, it's something that's in demand too because it's used to cook all the time.
