Who likes to take public transport?

What do you take? How would you compare public transport to riding a bike, walking, or using a car? What is your favorite modes of public transport? Is it free where you live? If it isn't then what's the price like?

It's not so great in my town trying to find a ride. Uber where I live sucks. I've heard some of the horror stories about it.

Great things about being an adult is the ability and able to afford a car. I hate public transport. It’s never on time, it’s full of unknown people, often with the mentality first come first serve. I hate it.

I do. I've never enjoyed driving (just don't feel safe doing it), and I like being able to do stuff as I travel (which isn't something I can do when I'm driving, and have to focus entirely on the road).

Of course, it's quite expensive and often isn't on time, but I guess I'm used to that now .

I used to take the public transportation frequently! I rode the city bus home each day in high school. I also rode on the city train a few times. Most of these are sketchy these days and I wouldn't do it ever.

When I rode I encountered many interesting people. I ended up with a stalker who followed me home once, but I knew to not make it home and went down a different way than normal. Definitely taught me to be cautious.

I do but where I live currently there is no public transport except for a really useless taxi service where the owner thinks he's high and mighty.

Very rarely. Sometimes I take the tram down the coast, but apart from that never. I get free public transport too and I still don’t use it lol

I don't really have a need for public transportation since I have my own vehicle. I'm not overly fond of driving with a bunch of strangers. I don't mind trains and buses much, but when you start to get to the smaller vehicles it just makes me feel a bit awkward.

I'm not a big fan of taking public transport. I only take public transport if I'm heading into town.
Other than that I will walk anywhere else. The only public transport I use is the local buses.

Subways are fun. I remember trying to learn all the routes for a city and doing some exploring. Who has done that?

If I Have no other choice then I take them, but that being said I have not taken any public transport since 2019..
