When you're not getting the kind of threads that you want?

Have you ever felt that you're not getting the kind of threads wanted being created in your forum? It would be as if the threads being created are just regular threads seen across multiple forums.

What would you do in this kind of situation to get threads that are unique, probably threads that are first created in your forum?

Sometimes you gotta go in and make the topics yourself. Sometimes you have to make the move to get things going. I've had to do it at many forums I worked on and owned. It just needs a push and you might start to see more topics sprout up.

When there is a lack of activity in my forum, I always try to create content, including the topics. I have niche forums and I want my forums to get search traffic. However, most of the time, users do not create content that are likely to attract search traffic, therefore, I frequently create indepth topics on my forums.

If you're expecting good results, you've got to do it yourself. If it's taking too long for the right kind of threads which you wanted to be published on your forum, make the first step towards doing it. This might push others to start doing the same.
