Everyone has the feeling where things simply could not go any worse, that everything has messed up some how, in some way. How do you deal with that? And how far are you willing to go to fix it all.

This just happened to me, no more than 5 seconds after I advertised my new blog I updated a plugin which shut the whole thing down, and delete all my work for days. What did I do? I delete the whole plugin, found one not as detailed, and I'm now starting up my few days work that got deleted.

Whoa. That really sucks. I can say I have been in the same situation. But, each mistake you make is an awesome opportunity to learn from it. I don't think you will ever forget to take backups before installing plugins from now onwards!

For one, I can tell you I'd be sending a really pissed off email to the developer of that plugin and I could bet there would be a few curse words involved.

Honestly, you just have to push through the lose of everything when sh** hit the fans. If your without a backup, then it just gives you a moment to actually change up your strategy, and learn from your mistakes so you can make it better upon recreating it.

I'm over it lol, not the publisher of the plugin fault, it is a free plugin, and as such it would be silly to think everything will be alright. I ended up finding a new, better/worse plugin, it updates everything real time as the other one updated every 10 minutes, the negative is it does not look as good as the other plugin. With the loss, it allowed me to add more to the content I had before hand, so it was not a total loss.
