When is it time?

When is it time to "upgrade" things on your forum? i.e.: Provide a new "version" of the forum for users to experience. For instance, we are in Promotion Box version 2, and version 3 is not far behind. How long should the in-between period of upgrades be in your opinion?

I'd probably say once a year is best. Seems alot of people get bored after a short amount of time but as a forum owner, I don't suppose it looks good to be constantly changing again and again so I'd say a year.

I say once in six months will be a good choice. Making constant changes to the site, may create a bad impression or disliking of the site.

Revamping the site should be taken lightly and should only be done when absolutely necessary.
