When did you start investing in stock market

As a student of business and finance, I learned the importance of stock investment, while I was still in college. I even had friends who were investing in the stock market. But it took me a long time to start investing in stocks. I bought my first stock only a couple of years ago. A profitable company launched an IPO and it was priced just $1, and I applied for 100 shares but was allotted only 50 shares. After holding the stocks for a few months, I sold them for three times the profit. I did not spending my profits, I waited for another IPO, and put all money in that shares.
