What was your first forum?

MyBB was the first one I started with. I ended up moving away from them and trying a few other options before settling on Xenforo and now this is the only software I use in terms of forum making/building.

I have tried as service PHPBB forums but also MyBB and Invision but this is as personal trials because I find more functional than Xenforo one or easy for use.

The first forum I built was on wordpress and used asgaros plugin for the forum. MY second forum was aslo a wordpress forum and I used wpforo to create the forum. These days I am running forums on SMF, phpBB and MyBB.

My first forum was built with a free forum software ProBoards and it was a sports forum. I couldn't give the forum all my time and energy to see it grow. I had to cancel the forum project but I'm working on something new with Xenforo now. It's still going to on sports niche but I'm considering employment niche too.

My first forum was on the InvisionFree software, it was a Yu-Gi-Oh forum. It had a decent run, but I closed it down when I started to become more interested in webmaster-related things.

My first forum is BMF and I was still there. The forum is still doing fine with a lot of activities that but benefit one.

Beer Money Forum is one of those old paid to post forums that have managed to stay in the mix for a very long time. I heard about the forum when I started making use of Forum Coin years ago but I never managed to get into making use of it even up till today.

I wish I could remember the link, because I wonder if it's still even active. I'm pretty sure it was a free forum board, I honestly forget what it was. phpBB maybe, or some other free forum software back in the day. Anyway I remember making it thinking I'd have this cool forum. Well I tried to get people from another forum to join, but all they did was spam it and post offensive content. I don't remember the name I went with, but it was an old username I used to go by back in the day, like CrazyH.

Mine was phpbb and a music lesson forum but didnt work cause I couldn't understand spambots. First of all, I thought they were real. Probably the solution was simple.

When you dabble into forum management project without much knowledge, it usually ends up this way. A lot of people have being in this kind of situation and it's never a good feeling because they all end up wasting time and some of their resources.

I think an employment niche would be really nice as a lot of people are constantly seeking job opportunities, you might easily get users and traffic. I once was on a forum that was some kind of job portal and it had a lot of activities. Sadly, the owner decided to shut it down. I am thinking of creating a writing job site and I have not really decided whether it would be a forum or a freelancer site.
