What type of background do you use?

I agree, I think white is the standard or any warm colour because they are the most pleasing to the eyes. Using different shades of colour could be bad.

The type of company that appreciate it's employees are the companies that treats their staffs well be it big or small international or local, because apart from the benefits some big companies with interesting benefits still maltreatment employees.

Choosing a background depends on your phone size and your font colour so that they do not contract and make the work visible for the reader or anybody visiting the site a contracting background colour and font colour makes the work bad

I only tends to decide my website background based in the sit,if it is an article site then I use white for the background then black for the write ups,and I use colours for graphics sites

White is definitely easier to read on, but not stark white. I like Grey's and off white as they are easier on the eyes for longer articles.

Even though I don't have any website but I understand your point of view, but don't you think when using your website it can affect your eye,the white background.

White backgrounds are often the best. I don't have any website for now but I do like white backgrounds in any site I visit. White backgrounds is the best for me.

I don't own a website but if i were to own one, i would also use a white background. It's bold and makes it easier for one to see what's going on on the website.

I make use of light and fast loading things with fascinating background for my website. There is no point in using a beautiful theme on your website only to have a long loading time which may affect your rankings on Google search engine.

I use white background on my website. Having white background is pleasing to eyes and makes easy to read. Since my websites are basically content website, I make sure users find it easy to read. I don't like background with images or dark color. If you want to use color in your background, gradient is better than one spot color.
I think that the best thing that you can do on a site is to rather leave the choice to the users because that way they can change teh colour to what they want in the form of a theme.

Yes it always good to have plain background as it will gives you attractive look to readers and some use mix of white and have black part in some part just like this forum have which is very attractive for me.

A plain background can also be easier to follow because i find that if there is a picture in the background then it can get a bit too busy to try and follow as well.

Yes and sometime it also increase your server load timing which is sometime not good for user experience as well as SEO too as Google also consider your loading time in ranking.

That is true, however that can generally be overcome if you are willing to compromise a bit on the quality of the background image because if you have a lower background then it can load fast.

Yes but I can't see any reason to have image in background as it is not necessary for me and sometime it distract users and sometime they don't like it to see it.

I uses a greyish background that is easy and soothing on the eyes. Just like this forum. Your choice of white is also good. That is why they call it whitespace. It is easy on the eye and keeps the text visible. I also don't like having many images on the background. That will destruct the audience from the main point.

White can be a good choice however it can be confusing at times because with teh text box and teh background being white it can be hard to find the text bo when you are using your phone.
