What title should a forum owner bear?

I remember one forum trying this a few years ago whereby all new members would be assigned to a member of the 'welcome team' who would do the opening PM thing, except they'd write a new one themselves (maybe they'd each send their own personalised one to their assigned new members), and be like a new buddy in the site.

I think for a bigger forum this could be interesting but a lot of sites aren't really big enough to make that viable.

The title isn't really that important as it is how you carry yourself that matters. If you act like someone who is the boss then people will treat you as such and if you don't then you won't treat you as one even if you are actually in charge. I recall one time on a board's chat box that I was confused as someone on the staff team when I wasn't on that board's staff team. I in a sense sounded more like a staff member then the people who actually were on staff because of the way I carry myself. Then there was the few times people were convinced that I was the founder of Madads because of how I carried myself there.

For the record, I always used admin as the title as it was good enough for me.

If there were multiple administrators, I may tag myself as "Owner", but since I'm the only administrator of my board I think that title will suffice.
If there are other administrators, it's necessary to have something unique to identify you as the owner of the board. It's the right thing to do in my opinion too. Everyone can't just be administrators but in a situation where you're the only administrator, it's obviously clear that you're the owner.
