What places would you recommend to visit for those who like active recreation?

I have visited many European countries and in each of them you can definitely find something to do all day. For example, in Poland you can spend whole days walking the streets and admiring the architecture, about the same in France. So I was in Austria, but in my opinion there are not many places for walking tours. But the best is Italy because you can walk around the city for whole days from restaurant to restaurant so that in the evening your feet will hurt guaranteed.
