We all have bad times on our forums, where it seems that no new members are joining, and the member are becoming less interested and less active on our forums. In a situation like this what motivates you to keep going on your forum?

When I joined this forum, it was paying really well. However, despite the cut on the pay rate I am quite active here. I am active here for two things, one I am enjoying interactions, two I am hoping that the pay rate will improve.

When you notice a blip or dip in terms of members interaction in your forum, then maybe members are not satisfied with contents created, the interface, or it is less interactive one, low pay rate. What makes me draw closer to forums mostly, is the day to day learning curve. Ever since i started doing PTP my knowledge to make money online have developed, from crypto, to forex trading, and website development, and in business etc.

Well i don't have a forum talkless of having members on it... but i would just suggest a little suggestion of what attract people to businesses...i believe a forum to is regarded as a business, so my suggestion is, members don't really like rules or i should say bulky rules, not that there wont be but its should not be much.

Sometime I bring some contest where they gain something so it encourage them active on forum again. Sometime I posts something on social media so they can see forum and may join the forum.

My passion is what really gives me that push despite the level ofobstacles I face when am carrying out a project. I always place my focus on my passion. My passion for whatever am doing is my greatest motivation and drive. It helps me not to be easily discouraged.

Growing forums is not as easy as growing a simple blog. Forums require time, effort, and constant promotion to grow. When things slow down, one should not give up, but it is a sign that it is time to change the strategies. You cannot implement one strategy for a whole year and expect different results. Plus, the times are changing with the coming of social media and stuff. That means that you will have to be more resilient and put twice as much effort into growing the forums that it was some 5- 10 years back.

Most important is to realize that a forum is a community, and good communities are developed slowly. It takes time to bring coherence and build relationships within the members.

Another very important thing to do when things slow down is to encourage interaction and conversations amongst the members. Soon, the members will be discussing things amongst themselves hence strengthening the community.

Life I suppose. My family is a key thing I work for. I also have pets that need to be fed and taken care of. That money protects me quite a bit, and gives me the life I want to give to my family. They motivate me to keep going every day, even when I feel like I can't.

Money is a great motivation factor. I am still in a college and I am studying hard in a hope that someday I will get a good paying job and I will be earning really well. So, I am motivated to go to college because someday I will be earning money.

I get motivated by the fact that I have a business of my own and I am not looking up to a boss to pay me before I can take anything from my business.

What motivate me to keep me going on this forum is the information, education, entertainment and enlightenment I enjoy on this forum. This is a popular and highly recognized international forum where several issues are always discussed and deliberated. I am now more intelligent, knowledgeable and know better than I used to be.

First of all what keeps me going in my business was my passion for the business, and also my friends we're right by my side, when I needed them most.

The goals and mission is whst would keep me going ,i am never taking a break till i would be able to achieve my goals and become very successful

Actually there are many things that motivated me to keep going, but one of the most important thing that motivated me to keep going was my family members.

There are times when I don't feel like posting but it's not a motivation thing. I would never post on something I have no knowledge of just for the sake of earning a few pence so if I can't find anything I can add value to I will just leave it. Pay cuts do not really discourage me.

At the moment I am finding it hard to be motivated on GPT forums because there is no one joining and very little activity; that's a big factor for me and if it carries on there is a real chance I will leave. Sometimes I will only post two or three times a day on a forum but that doesn't mean I am losing interest, it just means I am doing other things. The weather is great here in the UK at the moment so I am away from my computer a lot.

I don't have a forum now, but I have a lot of sites. When my sites are getting less traffic and earning less, the only thing that motivates me is that there will be day after the night ends.

What really motivate me to keep going is life is full of ups and downs, so once there us life in us, surely there is hope to succeed and excel.

At first i wanted to stop coming to bizdustry because the biznote was slashed to 10biznote per comment, but i am always loyal to the finger that fed me, bizdustry has already helped me when i needed them most, and come rain come shinning, i will forever come here ,
I think people decided to come here now because of the increase in point per post and comment.

Yeah i also have a site too and open it some weeks ago and i have earned nothing ,because i am still trying my best to get adsnetwork

I don't have a site, however, if I had a site, my primary motive would be making the site self sustaining. Well, I do want to make a lot of money from my site, but before that I want my site to survive.
