Two key advantages of online learning are flexibility and convenience. But online learning is a lot more challenging than it may seem.

Are you considering taking some or all of your courses online? Good for you!

But first, make sure you're ready to succeed. Online learning can sound so wonderful that some students start with an unrealistic vision. In reality, online courses require just as much, if not more, time and energy as traditional classroom courses. It also requires specific computer skills and learning strategies in order to succeed.

Online learners need basic technical skills to succeed. These include the ability to create new documents, use a word processing program, navigate the Internet, and download software. Mostonline schools have new student orientation programs.

  1. Be open minded about sharing life, work, and educational experiences as part of the learning process.
Introverts as well as extroverts find that the online process requires them to utilize their experiences. This forum for communication eliminates the visual barriers that hinder some individuals in expressing themselves. In addition, the student is given time to reflect on the information before responding. The online environment should be open and friendly.
  2. Be able to communicate through writing.
In the Virtual Classroom, nearly all communication is written, so it is critical that students feel comfortable in expressing themselves in writing. Many students have limited writing abilities, which should be addressed before or as part of the online experience. This may require remedial efforts on the part of the student.
  3. Be Self-motivated and self-disciplined.
With the freedom and flexibility of the online environment comes responsibility. The online process takes a real commitment and discipline to keep up with the flow of the process.
  4. Be willing to “speak up” if problems arise.
Many of the non-verbal communication mechanisms that instructors use in determining whether students are having problems (confusion, frustration, boredom, absence, etc.) are not possible in the online paradigm. If a student is experiencing difficulty on any level (either with the technology or with the course content), they must communicate this immediately. Otherwise the instructor will never know what is wrong.

The best strong advantage of online opportunity in education is the flexibility which allow working class candidates to explore and learn while holding on to their job

Online learner does not necessarily need a physical coach since most of the training is run virtually online. What makes a successful online learner is when such a learner understands what he/she has learned and is able to deliver it or replace the knowledge anywhere. When you learn something successfully online you should be able to come offline and teach what you've learned.

Persistence is perhaps the biggest key to success in online learning. Students who succeed are those who are willing to tolerate technical problems, seek help when needed, work daily on every class, and persist through challenges. When you run into a challenge, keep trying and ask for help.

Anyone that is interested to learn something and is very serious about to learn it will definitely succeed everything that has to do with save destination is always 80% likely to succeed, there is nothing that make people a good learner it all depends on determination and their ability to do it.

Online learning has proven to be manageable and can be accepted as the new normal. However, aside from its benefits, it has several loopholes. Learners may tend to be easily distracted and may lose focus. Another issue is the burden costs of data subscriptions.

A online learner should be the teachable and attentive type of person. Such a person must also believe in himself that it is not difficult to do or earn from.

As far as I am concerned, online lessons is quite an easy method to learn especially when you make use of zoom. The secret to learning efficiently in online lessons is by paying attention, taking notes and avoiding any form of distractions.

Online learning is not as easy as people do think. It takes great commitment and focus in order to be able to learn effectively online. Remember, there won't be room to be asking direct and instaneous question online.

Thank you! Many don't know this, when they hear online earning they believe it's much easier than offline, meanwhile it requires about the same energy, time and effort if not more to actually make it

There is certain level of discipline to be achieved if you want to run online program, because it's at your own convenience, be attentive, screen record and treat every point important.

one thing that makes a successful online learner is being consistent in your learning in everything you do you have to be dedicated when you are dedicated then you tend to achieve success.

there are several ways but all depend on the environment and then the ability of the learned, delegency and consistency of the learned to acquire what he wanted to.

To be a successful online leaner, you must be a type that is willing to learn what you don't know and unlearn what you are used to knowing to learn the new

As for me I believe the only thing that can make you a successful online learning is when you have achieved many things from learning online.
