I was really broke, and I needed money. I searched for different ways and found out about making money online, and I've worked since then. I don't work full time yet, but I have an offline job that pays well and I like it, so I have no issues with it.

It is difficult to make a full-time income only online but it is totally possible, but the time you need to make it a full-time job may take more time than one expects at first, but it all depends on the work and dedication you put into it.

You are absolutely right, you can also open a forum, or a youtube channel, you can learn trading or affiliate marketing, all those can give you a decent monthly income and make online work a full-time job, but as you know it takes time, dedication and desire to learn, but there are also many other methods in reality.
