As both a regular user and as staff or the owner of a site, what do you think is the best way to get more members and contributors on any site in general?

Created guided videos in which you give guideline to the people and use your forum best.gives your members hard numbers.because in your forum your members are more like successful and want to earn money more in their business.you must tell your new members that what is for them in the forum.

Bring changes or more activities to any forum, but also take care of your customer, so as not to bring in activities that could harm or threaten customers.

Just by attractive reward or money can attract a lot of people, like at Bizdustry a massive change after reducing Awards, People haven't enough time for anything rather money at forums, but if they get reasonable money they will come anywhere.

The first thing I can think of is the money, like in the case of Bizdustry.

But even without payment, people still stay stuck to some forums, and this is my observation.

These forums are interesting, with up to date (sometimes daily) news and posts. People want to known the latest things happening.

Another is if they can find long, value filled posts that educate them on solving a problem. For example, on Bizdustry, it can be an article about cryptocurrency for beginners, then another on how to trade.

Even if it's just the basics, people tend to trust this type of information more than that from blogs.

I believe a low level of interact would go a long to help keep and maintain the traffic of people on ones site. Let your rewards be an amount you can pay consistently while you earn more through ads.

Time... On all the forums I ever owned it was time. I just wrote quality content, had quality posters, no spamming to get post counts up. Just good communities interacting.

Exactly! Look for articles or posts that interest or educate people generally. People want to know about cryto currencies, about forex. Make the articles more interacting. Where possible add rewards. And before huge changes as the one in bizdustry are made, get people's mind prepared first. Such changes should be introduced gradually and not in one big jump.

Basically if you want to be active on the forum all you have to do is to be interesting, let your post be educating one and let your posting be filled with relevance not an outdated post, I mean posts on things in the past.

The admins of Bizdustry have done excellently, really. It's not easy running a forum where you have a lot of people who want different things.

Sure, there's improvements to be made, but no for was built in one day. Most take years to get fully established.

Yeah you are right. Haven't met any admin so nice as the one we have in this bizdustry. I must give it to them. They've been nice and generous. True it'll require time. But I'm sure once the right people or members are here things will work fine.

You mean more activities like getting money visitors to your website, nah it's simple as you think. The only problem with some people is fear, ok let's take Some example supposing that you a particular area where you want to develop I tell you

If you mean by contributors are the members of a non-paying site then the most attractive for general membership are the general topics like entertainment, sports, and other topics that are universal. I have been to such forums before and those boards about movies and sports are always the blockbusters.

My suggestion is to use advertisement banners more attractive so that the targeted audience will come to your forum by just seeing the interface that is attractive of your banners advertisement so yes ads are very important the Shilpi I catching and message should be e according to the audience interest

There are many ways to make a forum active. Among is introducing incentives. And creating quality topics. If a forum has all the sectors that the clients or customers want. They will surely be coming back for it. And also, rewarding active users as well.

First of all content is key as if we can bring up some high quality content and contributors, it will lead towards more interaction and more activity on forum. Also always rewards to active members which inspire them to produce more quality content.

In general, both the site or forum will attract visitors, both members and guests, if there are more and more useful articles, both site reviews, tutorials, news and others, so that just like other forums are not only visited by members

To create and encourage an increase in activities or what you call forum engagements on your platform, you need to add the aspect of incentives to the forum where people get paid for activities. You need rules but not too rigid rules else you won't get engagements.

If I knew how to get more members and more activity on a forum, I would have never shut down my forum. I had to close my forum because of zero activity from just 12 members. It is really had to get active members.

The best way through which one can get more users to your forum is actually by setting up a good referral program that will make your current members to bring in more people and a reward attached to it.
