What is your favorite forum software?

If you run forums, what is your favorite forum software?
I typically like IPB, but Xenforo has way more addons and plugins than IPB. IPB has a much easier system for modifying usergroup permissions. I guess it's a tradeoff in order to get the addons to do what you need.

I was using phpBB and SMF many years ago . Now the advertising rates are very low and I make very less, so I do not run the forum.

I don't have forum, but with my experience in different PTP forums, I found Xenforo much better. I don't know much about IPB, however, phpBB is also fine, this one is used in several popular forum, my experience with it is also established.

The limited knowledge I have about forums I think Xenforo is the best and have widgets to make everyone busy and occupied and gives the website a very nice and rich look

PHPBB and also Invasion are my favorite software forums because easy to use and understandable more than Xenforo dashboard.

Are you also running a forum so is it a paying forum or a free forum? I also like to know is there any cost involved in starting a non paying forum? And is it profitable in any way?

I love XenForo so much. I love as it has got a good user interface

As an admin, SMF is my favorite forum software, as a general user, Xenforo looks nice to me.
