What is the monthly minimum wage in your country?

Here in the USA, the federal minimum wage is currently $7.25/hour, with an increase set for July 1st to be $11.25 for companies that don't offer qualifying health insurance and $10.25/hour for those companies that do provide qualifying health insurance.

So $7.25x160 hours = $1160/month at minimum wage.

This is the reason why most people in my country both young and old are doing everything possible to travel to USA or UK or any European countries because of the better life in terms of payment they will get from working. Someone will work for 14 hours here and not get a worth of that amount of $1160 divided into 3.

There are many people in here as well who are willing to travel to a different country so that they may earn more and get better jobs. The fact remains that they believe that they may change their lives and get a better job in a different country. However, this may not always be the case all the time.
