What is the big difference between offline and online business

Since beginning I am watching that people give more importance do online business as compared to offline business what is the biggest difference between this two type of business because I am confused that a worker can earn money while working offline either it is offline or online business so what is the major difference that why people are giving importance to online business as compared to offline work
is online business more profitable than offline business?
Because country can only Run through producing more and more things that are basic need of life so why people give importance to online business

One thing you need to know about commerce is that in this age and period alot of things has actually changed,and the way things are done is quite different,services are done online even delivery of basic and essential goods and services are done through digital format these days.

Online business is being sold with the use of the internet. One could sell their businesses in shopping platforms or even the social media apps. Offline business on the other hand is what we were more used to. One could buy products on physical stores.

Thanks for clearing things up. Both of them have their advantages and disadvantages. But I believe if you weigh them, online business have an edge over offline

on the online side it is easier to say so because you work / do something from your comfort, from home. while on the offline side you have to wake up at fixed hours, do physical work s.a.m.d.

I do not see much difference except the medium you use to sell items. You still need the same skills or work on the same area, for example product development, marketing strategy, financial management, etc.

Well, the two are, all two forms of business. but the only difference between this two forms if business is that, the online has to do with the internet and also the interaction between two people through the media and not a direct contact. while the offline, has to do with direct contact and business transactions between two or more person.
