For my small online shop, getting noticed on the internet was tough at first. My website didn't show up easily on search engines, which made it hard for customers to find us and affected our sales.
I learned that SEO, or search engine optimization, was important to help improve this. I worked on making my website better by updating the content, making sure we used the right keywords, and that everything on the site made sense for what people were searching for (this is called on-page SEO). I also worked on off-page SEO, which means getting other websites to link back to mine and being active on social media to get more people to know about us.
A big help came from using something called crowd links through a service called webdruids. These are links from places like forums where people talk about stuff related to what we sell, pointing back to our website. This helped a lot because it showed search engines that people are discussing our website out there, which made our website show up higher in search results.
After doing all this, more people started visiting our website through search engines, and our sales went up. Using SEO, and especially the crowd links from
webdruids, made a big difference in getting our shop seen by more people. It took some time and effort, but it really helped our business grow.
