For me it is simple. I just quit. However, I don’t just leave the job immediately without building emergency funds. The funds will help me pay my bills until I find another job. By following this path, I have been able to transition into a job that I am passionate about without compromising financial security. What about you?

There are a lot of reasons to not like a job, and I think that will influence how you respond.

For example, if you have a job that is out of your skill set, is this a skill set that you can learn so you'll be an even stronger employee in the future? If you have a manager that you don't like, can you find yourself a mentor who can professionally support you even if you don't directly enjoy working for your manager?

It doesn't always have to be a simple "I quit."

The major motivation for me to work is the pay. I don't care about anything else or how I'm being treated, if the pay is what I want, I'm mentally strong to take anything from the job. Once the pay doesn't meet my taste, I'll leave the job ASAP.
