Building a website is requires a whole lot of strategies. And as an experienced website artist, I suggest that the first thing to do a a website is to post mind blowing contents every single day.Do you decide what it will focus on first? How it will look? What design you want?
Or do you start with the name (domain) and then do the logo, and move on from there?
The niche, that is what the website will focus on is actually the first thing to consider before starting a website. Its will not be good as blogger to upload content on food on your website today and next day you upload articles on travel.Domain, design, logo there are things that comes after but what comes now is the website content itself and also idea and if I have implemented such idea previously or it is first time I am doing such staffs and work. So things may differ from case to case. Sometimes redo same idea will be boring task.

I think content should come first when starting a blog. This is what search engines are after and it is the way to get traffic fast. Some technical aspects are important too like loading speed, bit not so much.
