What comes first kids or your significant other?

Kids are your legacy they are your future and honor you have a lot of responsibility once you have kids and you have to take care of them and be a good parent in order for them to have a good life.
Your significant other is your other half your partner your best friend he is always there for you he loves you truly and completes you.
In my opinion none of above is better and both are essential in life it feels wrong to pick up one of them..
But what do you think which of those comes first?

I am married with kids, therefore, I cannot choose kids over my wife or my wife over my kids.

I think marriage should come before you conceive your children, that means you will have a little more stability in life and as a couple to start raising children.
