What are the requirements for staff to be hired on your forum?

My requirements on my forum are that the user has not had any past bans/warnings. However, I usually make exceptions to the requirements.

The requirements for staff on my forum are as follows:
1. How active he/she is in the forum.
2. Quality of posts in my forum and other forums.
3. No bans or warnings

For me, it is all of the things that reddyash mentioned but I'd like to add one more thing to that. They must also be able to be mature, regardless of the situation.

They have to be active and mature. Also Grammar is also a must to look professional.

• Active Poster & Overall Member
• No Warnings
• Good Spelling/Grammar
• Did not beg to be a Staff Member

I look for people who are active in our community. It's important to be mature, well liked, and respected among current members. Besides activity, I look for people who have past experience in administration/moderation. Those who practice good grammar in forum communications also have a leg up.
