Take time to craft out an inventory list of your belongings. This will not ensure to help you keep track of your items, but will also be useful for insurance purposes in case of loss or damage during the move.

What are some of your actions/preparation when moving to another apartment?

It is correct to make a list because many companies can sometimes lose the goods they are transporting and you will not have evidence. I would also recommend that moving is a great opportunity to also sort through all your belongings and finally get rid of the unnecessary

If your old house has bugs, you got to take that into consideration and, in my view, new stuff needs to be bought, but that can be a problem if money is an issue, and the contaminated stuff is expensive.

Who has had problems with bugs? How did you handle it?

I agree with Jason, if you have bugs and roaches in your old house and if you move without killing them all they will create problems. Actually this has happened to me

I had never thought about the bugs, but it's true, they could create colonies there and then have to fumigate the house.

I have heard of the bug being an insect one should eradicate with all means, is their bite obvious.

You will also have to consider cost of moving. When you move to a new house, you will have to buy new carpets, new curtains, perhaps new furniture. You will have to calculate how much expenses you will incur while moving.

Before I would even pay for a new apartment that I move into, I'll critically review and inspect the house to make sure that everything is good with their apartment and it's not infested with any kind of insects or whatever.

I will also consider the security of that particular location where I am trying to move into and if all these things are not guaranteed, there is no way I'm going to take the apartment.
