What-about-ism

I take that it is about point out the faults of someone else when they accuse you of a fault. Well, it's not totally a bad idea. In fact, the Bible has the classic line which is something like: "Do not look at the beam in someone else's eye without looking at your own."

However, though, this idea can go overboard and it's just a method where a group doesn't want to face up with how bad someone is and this is seen big time with Trump supporters. Perhaps Harris ones are doing it it too a lot. Of course, they are doing it some.

An example of this might be: "Oh, Trump is a convicted criminal, but what about Hunter Biden or some Ukraine arms funding conspiracy?". Basically, the right is convinced what they call the "deep state" are criminals, so it's impossible for them to truly see Trump as a criminal.
