Anyone tried it (even a local install)? https://waterhole.dev/

It's an interesting one for sure, I'm not sure it's entirely worth the asking price yet but we shall see. I haven't because I'm not interested in building forums any more but I figured it was worth putting on peoples' radars so they know there *are* other choices.

Honestly from the looks of things it looks just like a Discourse/Flarum clone. I don't think it's worth $300, especially since it's still brand new and only on version 0.3. I'll probably keep up with the project just to see how it evolves.I also can't help but to think of the line "A waterhole?! What's so great about a waterhole?" from The Lion King every time I read the name of the software. :V

Their Support Community is dead, and this was in their FAQ...

What kind of support do you offer?

We'll answer developer questions about using and customizing Waterhole via email, usually within 2 business days. We don't currently offer a premium support plan with guaranteed response times.

"Usually within 2 business days"??? Um... no thanks.
