I have always had a difficult time with mindfulness just inside my head; I have OCD and ASD, and my brain is a noisy, cluttered place. It seems to help me focus if I am speaking aloud, since I can center myself in the sound of my own voice rather than getting pulled in every direction by my thoughts.
It’s hard to just talk aloud to myself though. But I recently found a social media app called Voicely where you record your voice instead of typing, and I’ve been posting my meditations there. It’s really helped me out, and I’ve even met some cool people this way who gave me great insights for my spiritual journey. I highly recommend it! Does anyone recommend any apps or other methodologies to help with mindfulness and mental help?
