Upload on Dailymotion or Vimeo to get paid

As we know, people upload their content on YouTube and start making money after getting their channels monetized.

My question is: have you ever tried to upload your content on other sites like Dailymotion and Vimeo in the hope of getting monetized?

I do not use Dailymotion and Vimeo. I never signed up with these sites. I do not know the requirement for video monetization on these platforms. Nevertheless, I believe you cannot earn just like uploading content, you should be receiving traffic, paid subscriptions, and sponsorship to be able to earn from these platforms.
