Traffic is the lifeblood of blogs, forums, all sorts of websites, and even social media pages and YouTube videos. Traffic has a direct connection with revenue. There are two primary sources of traffic search and social. Search traffic originates from search engines like Google, Bing, or Yahoo, when a user performs searches and then clicks on search results. Social traffic results from social media promotion.
Achieving search traffic relies on effective SEO practices, and optimizing content for search engine ranking. In contrast, social traffic hinges on building a substantial social media following and advertising content through ads on these platforms.

Either way you have to build a relationship. With social media, you want some of them to be in the buying mode at some point or you could convince people to join an email list.

Anyway, as for search engine traffic, the main idea is to get them to join an email list, but you could think out of the box and get them to join a discussion forum or FB group. Well, what are some ideas?

I think social traffic is somewhat easy. YOu build huge followers and then you can drive these followers to your website. If you do not have a huge number of followers, you can advertise your links and get clicks on your links. You can also run ads for your pages to build followers. Organic traffic is very competitive.

Yes, building relationships with the audience is essential for the success of every business. It's a useful idea to make your audience sign up for your emails, where you can send them valuable and engaging content, and ultimately leading them to your website to buy your product or service or read a blog post. It not only improves traffic to your site but also makes your audience trust your brand.
