Turmoil among staff

When there is significant turmoil among staff (i.e. many staff members resigning, getting demoted, or even getting banned), how does it affect how you view a forum?

I honestly find that a forum that has that much turmoil will not end up being successful. If they lose that many staff members often, there has to be an issue within the leadership perhaps. I likely will not post on the forum as much, if not outright just leave.

Ha. It loses credibility. It causes a shit show. It’s gonna be difficult to restore a former glory but it can be done. It will only take a lot of time.

I'd say it leads to quality entertainment and a teaching moment which I would not mind being said teacher in that moment that if taken right by the person needing that teaching moment could lead to that leader into being a better person/leader. If taken incorrectly, well you just get left with some entertainment so you win either way.

It was not always easy to see in those moments but I really wanted people to be and do better for everyone's sake. If it means taking a verbal beating in order to see it through then I was willing to pay the price to see that happen. The benfits don't even end with the forum itself as the person being a better person can take what they learned on their forum and apply it to the rest of their life and affect everyone involved in that life.

Every year I check a certain Promotion Forum. Literally every year they have a big relaunch with a whole new team of people.

It doesn't look good from the outside. Having new staff pop up every other month or so just when you're starting to get familiar with the current lineup of staff can be frustrating for members.

The kids don't like it when Mommy & Daddy fight. And trust me, they'll see it when they do. It just leaves a bad taste in everyone's mouth.
