I have never posted on the forum and based on their posting rules (requirement of long content), I was not interested in posting there. Why should I make 200 words post just to earn cents when I can earn more form articles

If you have no other source of revenue you will do this but if you have a good income from other places you are not forced to do that, unfortunately most users don't have another source of revenue.
