Transfer old date from floppy disks?

Do you still have data on some old floppy disks? Did you think about doing a data transfer to some other type of format and what did you choose?

We have an external hard drive, and most of my data is put on there. But I still have some floppy disks with client data and artwork from my portrait business that I intend to transfer some day. I just keep forgetting about it.

I don't even think I have any floppy discs lying about anywhere. I haven't had a floppy drive in 10-15 years, and even then I rarely used them. By the time USB flash drives came out, they were pretty much regarded as e-waste. Anyway, if I find some old floppies in my house, I might try to get data out of them and see if there's any family photos or something.
