Are you stubborn when it comes to going to the doctors? I am by no means a fan of going to the doctors, but as of late I've been going there weekly to take care of a wound I have. Otherwise, I don't usually go to the doctors. I'm stubborn as I like to wait until the last minute to see a doctor about my issues. Are you the same way? Or do you go to a doctor on the first sign of an issue with your body?

Sometimes is not stubbornness, its financial reasons. Healthcare in japan isn't cheap. I've gone without health insurance for years in the past and I couldn't afford to pay full price at the doctors.

I wouldn't say I am stubborn but sometimes I am lazy to go because it takes forever to visit a doctor and then be sent to specialist where you are going to wait even longer. It's just tiering.

No, I'm not usually too stubborn to go to the doctors when it's necessary. However, I have to admit that there are times when I can be a bit lazy, and I might not consider going to the doctor when it's not absolutely essential.

Not really, if there's something seriously wrong with me, I'll go to the doctor about it. If it seems like just a minor thing though, I may be a bit more stubborn primarily to save money.

I have to see a Endocrinologist every six months, so I do go to that doctor at least. As for my primary care doctor, I mainly only ever see her when I'm sick or have something going on. My insurance covers most of it but I still have to pay some money out of pocket, which of course I'd like to save especially if I'm doing fine and don't have anything going on.

"Health is Wealth" as my Ex Boss used to tell me, I don't joke with my Health and besides I rarely fall sick but once I notice anything I go straight to my Doctor because he knows more than I do

Personally, I don't joke with my health. Yes, health care is expensive in my country too. When you want the best medical care, you're definitely going to pay well for it. I was sick last weekend and I know how much I spent within 7 days just to get proper medication. I had home treatment and that's like twice of what you pay in the hospital.

I'm not afraid of seeing a doctor or a specialist. I'm afraid of the huge ass bill that they're going to mail to my house when they're done diagnosing me. No one wants to be punished financially when they seek out medical help. I went in for a sleep study to get an official diagnoses for my sleep apnea last year and I got slapped with a bill for 7 thousand dollars. I was not happy about it.

When I had Covid, I was bedridden for 11 days but I refused to visit the doctor. When I had dengue, I was bedridden for over a week and still I refused to go to a doctor. I do not like visiting doctors as doctors are notorious for prescribing antibiotics and I do not want to put antibiotics inside my body.

You have problems with taking antibiotics 😂. Well, I believe that you probably have other means of getting treatment since you don't like or want to take any antibiotics. Personally, I don't mind them at all as long as I'm not downing too much. They are chemicals, so one need to be very careful how much they take.

Something I have always been told about, especially with my parents is how I should not be stubborn when it comes to heading to the doctor if I am feeling unwell or if I feel something is not right.

I have always been te kind of person to wait until the issue that I have gets so bad I feel I have no choice but to see the doctor and a lot of the rime it results in me needing to take more medication or go for more tests that could have been avoided.

Generally, I do not like to visit the doctor, but if I have no choice if I go, I have passed Covid about 2 times and I have not gone to the doctor, I have had gastroenteritis, fevers, toothaches, and more and I have not visit the doctor, honestly, unless I feel very very bad, I do not visit the doctor hahaha.

I am somewhat stubborn too, not only stubborn but also lazy. My ears are itchy and I need an EENT to excavate the earwax that does not get out of my ears. I will go to the clinic on Saturday.

Procrastination is one of the biggest problem that most people usually have especially when it comes to going to see a doctor for any health issues they have.

It's only going to be when things get very critical for them with their health that they are going to bundle themselves and go to the hospital to get proper treatment.

I cannot anymore suffice the itch in my ears, so I went to the EENT this morning. I felt relieved after the wax was removed.

The moment my body is no longer responding to me the way I wanted it, it's either I'm going to the hospital or I would call my nurse over. We have had a family member died as a result of not getting medical attention when he's supposed to. Since then, once I'm ill, it's hospital one way traffic.

Yes, sometimes we are too stubborn to visit the doctor when we need it, but since we usually recover on our own, we don't go, as you say, you can have something worse and not know it and believe that you will get better on your own and the worst can happen, I am very sorry for the death of your family member, it is something that definitely makes you think.
