It's an achievement, right? xD
This also means I need to work on improving the anti-spam capabilites of the forum.

Is your forums using email confirmation to approve user before start posting?

Or choose first one or two posts by new one need approval. Starting few posts will show you that how was that member.

If you will active these two options then more than 75% spammer can not spam your forums.

@RankWebSEO This is my custom built forum, so the anti-spam measures are ... lacking, to say the least. I'm using the StopForumSpam service to weed out potential spambots, but some may have gotten through. I'll add post approval to the featureset.

@Cory It does feel like a real person posting it, based on the email address they used. I'll take the suggestion by RankWebSEO and implement a post approval feature.

I wouldn’t be surprised if it was a real person. But yes, definitely an accomplishment. I should make a spam badge and award you one. 😂

I’ve seen that particular spam message on multiple forums in the past month. I think it could possibly be a real person posting it.
It's a real person posting the same thing all over multiple forums. He or she doesn't post any other thing except that and he doesn't reply any comments made on it. It's a religious thing stuff that's too long to read.

On a corporate site that I am working on, manual spammers are hitting the contact form, and sending all kinds of pornographic messages. I had to code a system to filter all the text since recaptcha and stop forum spam isnt helping. D:

Congratulations. No small feat.

That is interesting. That a person would visit multiple forums just to post that.

You know what's really weird? I have *guest posting* enabled on my forums and I barely need to moderate that, because I implemented a few little tricks that have proven pretty good at defeating the spammers :D

But yeah, it's always an achievement when they do figure it out because then it just encourages us to be smarter again.
