I see forums all the time not allow "necrobumping" where you cannot reply to a thread x days old and then there are forums that really do not care what thread you bump, as long as it's still a relevant thread. What's your stance, do you guys allow necrobumping?

I don't care if members do. I really don't. For me personally, it depends. If the topic is off the first five pages, I'm probably too lazy to go find it, so I wouldn't bump it myself. However, if I was to bump a topic, I wouldn't bump it if it was over a year or two old.

It's a thread, who honestly cares if it gets bumped or not? Personally, I'd prefer to have bumped threads than a board filled with duplicate threads. I really do not want to be skipping around in the 5th page back and suddenly see the same thread topic as the one on the second page, ya know? It really just cheats the stats, and I normally do not join forums that mini-mod their boards like that. (Unless of course, the board is a support board where common sense dictates not to bump the thread.)
