At times I or some user on this forum creates thread that I feel will have the most replies to but its the other way round, meaning they are either ignored or not being responded to for whatever reason.

What do you do in this case?

I can't do anything but as a owner you should make comments on threads so other will also follow unless content is not up to quality where members make any reply. So it all on content.

If you feel that some threads deserve a lot of engagement yet there are no engagement, you may try to plug the thread by making it sticky post, promoting through private messages, or sending newsletters.

I personally turn to unanswered threads every so often, and try to answer some of them. In many cases I don't respond due to lack of knowledge and that is my reason for not doing so. It may happen that for some members they are not attracted to the subject matter covered in the thread.

I admit that not all threads can comment or reply,
because there are lots of threads that I don't understand, especially with the Ask prefix, so those who don't can give the right answer, but I only read replies from other users.

Some topics just don't draw a crowd, that's to be expected sometimes. I've been to many forums, where I've seen unanswered topics. But, the majority of the forum is packed with topics that have pages of replies. The unanswered topic will just get buried with time.

Of the question is understandable with reasons that are valuable, people always get entangled to it, and create more replies. But if its a complex question, it is very hard for everyone to comment on it.

I noticed that too and I think it has to do with your content and the topic leading to such thread.develop a catchy.tooic that would interest readers and they would flood your thread.make you have quality content too.

You're right, creating an easy to understand articles, engaging with reasonable information. And not creating complex and confusion thread, expecting people to add comments when they never understand your points.

Well I'll probably BUMP the thread by replying to it again until someone sees it, Bizdustry is so vast with lots of members so I see no reason why at least one or two people shouldn't be able to respond to my enquiry. I personally make it a point of duty to visit the unanswered questions section and reply to the ones I can

it's pretty normal, sometimes, there are threads with unclear subjects or either complicated things that people don't know about, it happens :D

Sometimes threads might be beyond my knowledge and I'll feel unmoved yo add any comments there, cos i never want to complicate issues of posting trash.

When I create a thread and people do not respond to the thread as much as I would want as an owner of a forum, I would just pin that thread on the section so that whenever anyone that comes to that section would only see that thread and they will have no option but to comment on it.

Most at times what we actually think will be move and love by people is not always so, not because the thread is not meanful or interesting but people react to things differently. People responding to ur thread or not should not discour u from continue.

When a thread does not have replies, you need to understand one thing: the users on your site are not interested in discussing in the topic. Having too many threads with no replies or few replies hurts

Sometimes more broad and confusing topic are left out by members. When creating threads we should centre it towards simple and understandable words.

Probably because people are afraid to comment on your thread, beside its very easy to spot mistakes on your thread than others, that's how i feel they think anyway.

If threads do not have any replies, the admin and the moderators need to reply to those empty topics so that the topic will appear on the feed for members to reply. Threads that do not have replies are likely to be buried deep. As a owner and moderator, you need to reply so that more people will find the thread.

In most cases I think this kind of things happen when people are really not interested in the topic discussed or they have little or no knowledge about it and they don't want to mislead People with their reply

I think people are not always posting on thread like that just because of the fact that the question is too complex for them to go by and won't have an accurate answer for it.
