The most annoying part as an Administrator ?

Spam and trolls never bothered me very much, mostly because it wasn't particularly hard for me to outfox them with the tools I had at my disposal.

I will say some of the really weird/petty/unexpected people behaviour that goes on gets to me at times. Over the years I've had to deal with people trying to clone sites, people impersonating me, weird groupie unofficial fan clubs (including the crowd who made "I <3 Arantor" t-shirts)...

I'd also have to say dealing with trolls and spam.

Good lord, I agree. It annoys me to no end having to handle and deal with petty stuff people do or say. I usually just nip it in the bud so not to let it become a bigger problem. Some people just behave and act so....weird sometimes.

I don't really deal with it anymore it seems, but dealing with spam and trolls was always very annoying.
This.

Dealing with the seemingly constant and never-ending influx of spammers really does kill the joy I feel about managing an online community.

I actually had to ban my first member out of 1300+ members the other day for being a spammer. They posted a link to some weird cryptocurrency site and plastered the link all over their profile as well. I deleted the topic and removed all the links from the profile, then banned the account.

One member join the first day, removed themselves the next. One person joined my forum twice and removed herself twice just because I was just doing my job. Glad I raise this concern to others I made sure that member is banned for life, because I don't deal with time wasters.

Seriously, it's always very frustrating having to deal with spam especially from new members. Once they registered, they will start spamming almost all the sections of the forum with irrelevant posts that's not related to the OP's topic. I also hate having to deal with low quality posts.
