The first cryptocurrency you ever owned?

I could remember years ago after working on a particular paid to post forum, I got paid in litecoin, that was the first ever cryptocurrency payment I received. I was so happy owning a cryptocurrency that I held unto it for some time.
Now I have received a lot of other coins, but that first one will always be remembered by me. You hardly forget your first, after all.

So what was the first cryptocurrency you owned, and how did you feel about it?

It should be either litecoin or Bch, I got it as payment from forums too. This is due to their low transaction fees.

In the early 2016, I received 0.25 BTC on my coinbase wallet. It was worth just $100 back then. I made that money by working on a certain article site.

Dogecoin was the first crypto that I owned. I traded most of them for shiba coins though.

200 $USDT, gift from a friend who wanted me to discover the world of crypto. Enthusiastic at first I am much less enthusiastic today.

Today and after a few transactions I own $480 USDT that I am looking to convert into a PayPal payment... if a member of the forum is interested, let me know. 😊

I just earned my first crypto this morning, $2.98 of Ethereum! I got it from Idle-Empire, which is a website where you can take surveys, do offers or watch videos to earn credits. From there you can trade your credits for crypto, gift cards, or money via Perfect Money and Payeer. I've been wanting to start investing in crypto, I wish I was able to do this sooner back when bitcoin first came out but I had no clue it existed.

The first cryptocurrency I ever owned was Bitcoin just over a year ago. I have looked into investing in crypto but have always been to wary to do so as I would hate to lose anything I receive by leaving it there.
