The business operates in the economic environment. We examine economic systems in, which a business operates. The concepts are important to understand, how business operate in a particular way in a society.

Economics is the study of how resources are distributed for the production of goods and services within a social system. The resources available are land, forests, minerals, water and other things not made by people. These are called natural resources. Human resources are labor work and Financial resources are capital and funds.
