Coinbase and TurboTax Offer Tax Refund in cryptocurrency, Coinbase account and convert it to crypto. Will this tax refund benefit Turbotax users?

In general, this is a gift from the company and not the tax refund means this is a promotion for a limited time to grab up customers and then after that, they will reduce the percentage for refund or imply more VAT in some services to recover the tax refunded as gift.

I use coinbase but I have never been charged extra for "tax." @Suba can you eleborate more on the topic.

There are even some microfinance banks that does it in my location. It is just like a way to have more customers.
