Take long breaks from games?

Do you ever take really long breaks from gaming? If yes, how long for?

Sometimes I'll take breaks as long as 3 to 6 months when I'm burned out.

Depends really. If I have other things that are requiring focus in life, then taking long break intervals from gaming can be useful and really it's the only option if you have no time because of this. Sometimes taking long breaks can help with burn outs and depressions, allowing more time to be spent with family/friends.
