Star Wars or Star Trek?

This debate has been an ongoing one for a very long time. Which is the better space epic? Is it Star Wars, or Star Trek? I am more a Star Wars guy, but I have watched some of the newer Star Trek films. I still prefer Star Wars over Star Trek. But which one do you like the most?

My nephew would kill me if he knew, but I voted Star Trek. I have fond memories of growing up and sitting with my dad and watching the series. Then when the movies came out, I didn't really like them at first, until the prequels came out. Those were amazing, so I'm a huge fan.

I have never been a fan of Star Trek. It's always been Star Wars for me. How can you not love Star Wars? With Darth Vader, Darth Maul, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Master Yoda, Master Windu etc, I can go on and on. I can never get enough of Star Wars.

I enjoy both Star Wars and Star Trek, but I lean more towards Star Wars. Both franchises have their unique charm, and it ultimately comes down to personal preference. For me, Star Wars holds a special place in my heart, but I can still appreciate the newer Star Trek films for their own merits.

Exactly, it's how I feel about Star Wars. The storyline in Star Wars made it something I found a way to sync with completely. There's some sort of empathy in it which makes it very appealing. I find it very easy to rewatch any Star Wars franchise without getting bored.

It would appear I'm the only one who never watched a single scene in Star Trek. It may sound surprising to people and I can understand it too but it's the truth with me and Star Trek. It could down to none of my friends being Star Trek fans. No one was there to influence others to watch it.

It would seem like I have been missing a lot of from not following well on Star Trek but hey, it's never too late to start watching any movies or TV shows. As long as one's alive, you can start whenever you so desire. So, with that being said, I would definitely make out time to start watching Star Trek again as long as my schedule allows me.

I really enjoyed both. Star trek reminds me laying down on the carpet and watching the tv as a kid! Even the new star trek movies have been decent!

Star wars though is incredible itself. I have to vote for Star Wars personally!

I always liked the storyline and characters of Star Wars more than Star Trek. I was never a big fan of Star Trek overall.

Without a doubt Star Wars, since childhood I have been a big fan of Star Wars, especially episodes 4, 5 and 6, my favorite movie is the empire strikes back, I have seen very little of Star trek and Although they are good movies I never became a fan of the saga.
