How would you handle the situation if two or more members were having fights with a member of your forum but on another forum?
The drama evolving and then affecting your forum with people signing up just to tell others that one of your members did X, but that member was really good and active on your forum?

I believe each one of us has our own responsibility. I won't allow my staff to use their official mail id to log in to other forums and won't allow them to participate in another forum discussion during working hours. If they are part of another forum during their leisure hours and if they get into fights with other forums it's their own responsibility, I don't want to get involved in it.

I think that it can be hard to get involved in this case because this will be on another forum and therefore it is unlikely that you can cross that bar in order to try and help them out in a forum that you do not own.

Something like this has not happened to me but I think reputation matters and if the staff are fighting on other forums, I would initiate a disciplinary action on my site. Maybe I should have a written rules on what to do when staff fight on another forum.

If something doesn't happen on my site, I can't ban or do anything about them when they access other sites, even if they're together arguing. That's more up to the owners of the sites they are arguing on, if it's becoming distracting, they could always ban those users.

Now if they're talking trash about me and my site in the process, then maybe a ban is in order, but my main thing is, if it doesn't happen on my site, I can't ban you for what you did at another site.
