What are your thoughts on Squidoo as a promotion method?

A very good promotional method. I know people who pull in thousands monthly via SEO, Adsense and such as they have all said something good about Squidoo so if my 'pro' friends endorse it, it must be good! That said, I have glanced over it and it does look like a good area to get stuck into.

It is not as effective as it once was but if you are starting a new site, a Squidoo lens and a Hubpage will be worthwhile additions to your link profile.
