I've recently been migrating a number of disgruntled Squarespace Clients off the platform and over to custom WordPress solutions and before now hadn't realised the lack of flexibility of the Squarespace platform: And the excessively high (in my opinion) monthly cost.

Does anyone else have experience with Squarespace, and do you think it's design/custom code offers are suitable for most businesses above a basic initial-growth phase?

I don't really have an experience with squarespace. However I would think all similar provider works same way.Thete will be little if any savings in comparison.
Even if you find one that's cheaper than squrespace,it might be there are hidden cost that will come up later.

I think I have heard of Squarespace previously, but I don't exactly remember what Squarespace is. Is Squarespace a website builder? If it is a website builder, I do not see a point in using Squarespace. I think wordpress is better.

Squarespace is actually a new kind of website design company that I don't really see them and the same competitive space as WordPress. You seem to be having problem with squarespace so I will recommend you to only use WordPress for your website designing needs.

Squarespace is a website builder, The problem with website builders is they are very expensive. I always suggest people to use wordpress instead of website builders.

I myself have never come across this said square space before. Maybe because it is not as popular like the regular WordPress we all know about
